Jody Goetzman
Director & Lead Teacher
Faith Lutheran Preschool has been under the direction of Jody for the past 16 years. Prior to that she served as the Preschool Board President for 3 years before joining the staff as a lead teacher and assistant for 6 years. Jody is a graduate of MVNU and has her Child Development Associate in Early Childhood. She is mother of 5 adult children. Four of her children attended Faith Lutheran to start their educational journey. Jody and her husband; Rick of 32 years are longtime Mount Vernon residents. Jody is an active member of New Life Church of the Nazarene in Mount Vernon. And, serves her community as President of the Knox County Career Center Board of Education and Vice President of the Mount Vernon City School Board of Education. In her spare time she enjoys camping, gardening, and a quiet walk in the woods.
Hannah Stewart
Lead Teacher
Hannah is a Graduate of Fredericktown & Bowling Green University with her degree in Early Childhood Education. This is her second year in Early Education and her first year at Faith Lutheran. Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors in her spare time. We are excited to work along side Hannah and welcome her to the Faith Lutheran Preschool Staff.
Natalie Cooperider
Assistant
Natalie has worked at FLCP as an assistant since 2017. Natalie served as president of the board while her daughter attended our program for 2 years. When a need arose for an assistant in one of our classes, she joined our staff. She resides in Mount Vernon with her husband Mike and daughter. They own and operate their own business and are active in the local community.
Karina McDonald
Lead Teacher
She has worked at FLCP as both a lead teacher and assistant since 2007. She holds an associate degree in Early Childhood. Karina has taught in all of our classes at some point during her time at FLCP. Her oldest son has attended FLCP for three years. If not at FLCP Karina can be found working their farm along side her husband Chad and two sons. She attends Victory Church of Christ.
Stefanie Meyer
Substitute
She has worked at Faith Lutheran since 2012. She started as an assistant and is now lead teaching two of our 4 yr old classes. Ms. Stefanie has earned her Child Development Associate. She and her husband Jim along with her 3 children reside and are active in the Mount Vernon community.
Jasmine Amyx
Assistant
While not new to the Faith Lutheran Family, this will be Jasmine’s first year on Staff. Her oldest daughter attended Faith Lutheran for 2 years. We are excited to have Jasmine on staff and look forward to the many ideas she brings to our program. Jasmine coaches softball and cheer. She loves spending time outside with her 3 daughters. She and her husband Nathan reside in Saint Louisville.
Tiffany Epley
Lead Teacher & Assistant
Tiffany is our newest staff member. She joined our staff in the Fall of 2021. You can find Tiffany subbing in many of our classes as needed. Tiffany is active with her two children and enjoys being outdoors with her family. Both of Tiffany’s children have attended Faith Lutheran. Tiffany, her husband Jason and family reside in Fredericktown.
Heidi Ehret
Assistant
After having such a positive experience with her children at FLCP, Heidi returned to our preschool in 2017. She joined our staff as an Assistant and Lead Teacher in our Bright Beginners 3-year-old class. Heidi is a lifelong member of the Fredericktown community. She is the proud mother of 3 grown children. And, she and her husband Steve, reside on the family homestead in Fredericktown.
